Prof Jim Monaghan Lab
My current research looks to identify phenotypic traits that are linked to stress resilience in leafy and root vegetables, and I have collaborated with the University of Warwick, PepsiCo and G's.
My day-to-day activities include:
• Design experiments growing a variety of crops
• Set up experiments and ensuring they run smoothly
• Take notes and observations throughout and at the end of experiments
• Collate and analyse data, including statistical analysis
• Write scientific papers (two papers under preparation)
• Mentor undergraduates and postgraduates
