Dr. Zhang's lab studies the molecular pathogenesis of bacterial infections in broilers and laying hens, particularly those caused by avian pathogenic E.coli and Campylobacter. Our lab aims to develop effective intervention strategies to reduce pathogens in chickens and enhance the safety of poultry products.
