Dear Author,
During purification of tau protein, do you get truncated products (appear as smear on SDS gel) of tau as well? Generally, C-terminal tagged protein has advantage over other forms of protein as only those fragments will binds to the affinity resin, which is completely translated. But considering the truncation in tau (frequently encountered when tau protein is purified without tag), do you also encounter the similar observation in this method of protein preparation?. Looking forward to hearing from you. Thanks in advance.
