Bio-protocol publishes detailed, step-by-step versions of protocols validated by their use in a published or preprint research article. Any protocol, whether novel or basic, that has not yet been described in detail in the published literature, is a good candidate for publication in Bio-protocol. Evidence that the protocol is robust and reproducible can also be provided by including relevant data in the validation section of the submitted protocol.
