Research focus

We focus on understanding the role of GABAergic interneurons in cognition, behavior, and epilepsy. Currently, I am studying the cellular and molecular mechanisms governing synaptic integration of transplanted GABAergic interneurons and its effects on adult neurogenesis in the dentate gyrus of an adult mouse.
