To take UV photos, the #1 filter (an interference filter with a dielectric UV/IR cut-off coating) was removed from the two built-in filters on the Sony A7S camera (referred to as IDAS UV-VIS mod), and the LPL 135 mm F 4.5 lens with its high UV transmission and a UV Filter (IDAS-U, ICAS Enterprises) was attached to the camera.
