Frequently Asked Questions(FAQs)
Bio-protocol Exchange is a community for researchers to find, share, and discuss protocols in the life science. Our mission is to improve research reproducibility and accelerate scientific research by lowering the barriers for scientists to communicate about experimental and analytical methods and techniques.
The Bio-protocol Exchange allows readers to search various types of protocols (see below) and request and suggest new protocols for posting and publication.
Bio-protocol Exchange is also the home of the Bio-protocol preprint repository. The repository hosts protocols for any area of the life sciences, including but not limited to biochemistry, cancer biology, cell biology, developmental biology, immunology, microbiology, molecular biology, neuroscience, plant science, stem cell biology, and systems biology. The basic criterion for considering protocols for posting is whether they will be of value to others in the life science research community.
