Thank you for the question. For this paper we used a well established adhesion score that scores adhesions based on their tensile strength and vascularization (table S1). We do not claim novelty for this score which has been previously described by Zuhlke et. al. (Reference 50 in the Paper) and has since then been extensively used (https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/?linkname=pubmed_pubmed_citedin&from_uid=1983476).
