The detail protocol was provided in the manuscript, in the section "Biotinylation of Smc3p-AviTag reporters". The reaction volume is 0.75 ml, so 0.25 ml of 80% TCA is added to the reaction to yield a 20% TCA. The recipe of culture media is listed in the section "Yeast strains and media", which has no TCA in it.
