Dr. Skoulakis designed the T-maze that I used in all my experiments and publications. He had these made by a manufacturer in Houston, if I remember correctly. All studies were conducted in a room under red light, so that the flies walked and did not fly. The shock grids are flat, but sized to roll and be placed into a test tube that had a fitting allowing scent flow into the tube, which was fitted to the T-maze. I still have mine, but I am not sure if he has a patent on the T-maze. He would be the person to ask these types of questions. https://www.fleming.gr/research/ifbr/researchers/skoulakis-lab
