Are the extensions from colonies (c, blue *) neurites?
> Yes, they look like neurites. If you want to differentiate the cells into neurons, you do not have to worry about these neurites and just proceed!
What are the single cells with these extensions (b, red *)?
> They look like flat non-neural cells. These cells do not have potency to differenciate.
If you observe a lot of these flat cells, you should "follow the following Steps C2a-C2g to purify the NSCs/NPCs from the non-neural cells" or "Just discard the cells and restart neural induction from scratch.
