protocol Protocol: Isolation of Human PBMCs
Hi
I need to isolate pbmc for t-cells (CD4,CD8) study so can i use EDTA tube for separation of cells without hampering the cell viability? Which anticoagulant will be best as i need to freeze the pbmcs at -80 degree celsius and transport it to the lab for the further study.

Yes, You could use EDTA. But I would prefer heparin for PBMC isolation.
