protocol Protocol: Heterologous Expression and Purification of the CRISPR-Cas12a/Cpf1 Protein
Hello,

I checked from Addgene website and there is no item #90095 and #90096 as you claimed. I am trying to purify from #90094. Can I use your protocol for this?

Dear Nisa,

I am curious if you were successful with the purification! Do you need any other input?

With kind regards,
Daan

Dear Nisa,

To add to the comment of Prarthana: I think indeed it should be possible to express and purify FnCas12a from #90094 with the same protocol. However, we never tested this expression plasmid ourselves, so we don't know what the yield will be. Maybe it will be informative for other readers/users of the protocol if you can share if you succeeded with the purification and what the yield was!

With kind regards,
Daan

Dear Nisa,

These are the addgene links for the plasmids #90095 and #90096 : https://www.addgene.org/90095/ & https://www.addgene.org/90096/.
You can also use this protocol to purify hFnCpf1 from the addgene #90094 plasmid.

All the best!
