why do you maintain cells in gelatin coated dishes for differentiation? Are the plastic wares used for culturing c2c12 cells different from the ones that are used for other cell lines say 293-T? Gelatin coated plates promote the cell attachment and spreading of myoblasts. C2C12 grow fine on regular plastic plates, but the easy grip plate is better.
