protocol Protocol: Efficient Superovulation and Egg Collection from Mice

I attempted to induce superovulation in 40-week-old mice using a protocol with eCG (equine chorionic gonadotropin) and hCG (human chorionic gonadotropin), but I was unable to obtain a sufficient number of oocytes.

I'm so sorry for incredible long delay to response! I think 40-week-old is too old for effective ovulation induced by eCG. Although Takeo reported that IAS plus eCG is effective for ovulation in aged, the number of eggs may still be lower than that in younger.
