How much Molar of Ascarbic acid should be used to prepare the reaction mixture ?

protocol Protocol: Measurement of Ascorbate Peroxidase Activity in Sorghum

In my college lab, we don't have L(+) -ascarbic acid in liquid form. We have the Ascarbic acid as salt form. So how much Molar or mM of Ascarbic acid should be used to prepare reaction mixture for the APX detection ?

Hi,

This will be 0.5 mM ascorbic acid, but you may also standardize the protocol by using 0.1 or 0.01 mM by varying the concentration, according to your lab conditions and type of sample in your case.

The delay in reply is deeply regretted,

Thank You
