Nail polish method is not appropriate for stomata imprint of wild tomato because of its dense trichome. Can you suggest me any other easy method?

So far I have tried both nail polish and leaf clearing with ethanol, acetic acid and KOH. In nail polish, trichome do not allow to give clear picture of imprint and leaf clearing technique gives full bleach of epidermis.
