How can the KIR subtypes be stained in the same tube, when the cells are already stained with the cocktail including the subtypes?

We did not add saturated amount of antibodies in the cocktail, so there were still free binding sites of KIR receptors that can be bound by the same antibody clone labeled with different fluorophores. Hope this addresses your questions.
