Our situation is similar, my laboratory usually incubate the primary antibody overnight in the fourth degree refrigerator, too. Primary antibodies are either incubated at fourth degree or at -20 preserved, some time ago, I discussed this problem with the company's technical staff because the western blot is not effective, and he said that the primary antibody can also be incubated at 37 degrees for two hours, and some students in other laboratories have done it, and the effect is good. According to the feedback, the antibody can be used 3-5 times, but I am not sure whether all antibodies can or only their antibodies can, so you better read your antibody instructions in detail or contact the company's technical staff, recently I also want to try the new method, I wish us a smooth experiment.
