I have just been in contact with western blot, and there are some questions about the amount of protein loaded, should I keep the number of proteins the same or the same volume of solution when dosing? If the number of proteins is maintained consistently, will the loading buffer caused Read more Read less more less

Generally, 30ug -50ug protein samples can be added per well, increase the sample size appropriately if the protein is large or small, if there are quantitative analysis needs, you can modulate the protein supernatant to the same concentration, and then add the same proportion of loading buffer, and then add the same dose of sample to the gel. If there is no quantitative need, as long as the protein is in the appropriate range, and the amount of sample can be adjusted appropriately according to the results of protein expression to make the bands clearer.
