Open the NCBI website, find "gene" in the search type, then search for your gene name or gene number, finding the gene of the corresponding species and then look at the gene coding direction, if the coding direction is as shown in the red arrow direction in Figure 1, then select the downstream 2kbp in the sequence in Figure 3,

if the direction is opposite, select the upstream 2kbp, and then find the gene bank (Figure 2), the sequence in front of the ATG in the resulting CDS sequence is the promoter sequence. You can also get the desired length of the promoter sequence by changing the data at the top right of the page (Figure 3) (generally choose about 2kbp).
