I now conduct culture of bacteria (liquid medium). The pH of the medium needs to be adjusted continuously during the culture process. What are the methods of adjusting pH? Which is better?

Are you a shaker or a fermenter? We have used the following methods for your reference: (1) Add CaCO3 to the culture medium, which is generally used in yeast fermentation. (2) Adding NaOH in the medium for regulation is more commonly used. (3) Add ammonia can not only adjust PH value, but also serve as a nitrogen source (very economical method). (4) Add HCl or acetic acid to the medium. (5) Buffer liquid system is often used in shaker.
