Bovine serum albumin (BSA) was used as a standard to calculate the protein concentration in the secretome. The BCA assay was made from two solutions: 4% copper sulphate and the Bicinchoninic acid (BCA) solution from Sigma Life Science, USA. The optical absorbance was measured at 562 nm with a microplate reader. The protein concentration of secretome was calibrated through the plot of standard BSA concentrations. Three samples were used for the test. Each sample was tested in triplicate.
