Ribosomal DNA is a common target for the design of probes or selected markers. For the identification of different types of bursate nematodes, primers were synthesized to target the ITS1-5.8s-ITS2 region of the ribosomal RNA gene of Nematodirus oiratianus based on the GenBank sequence. The forward primer was 5′-GTAGGTGAACTGCGGAAGGATCATT-3′ and the reverse primer was 5′-TTAGTTTT CCTCCGCT-3′ [10].
