The hydrodynamic size of magnetic nanoparticles and modified polymer-coated (CMD) nanoparticles were determined using the Zetasizer Nano ZS (Malvern Instruments) analyzer at a temperature of 25 °C in Milli-Q water or 1 M NaCl. Measurements were carried out in triplicate.
