The data of 535 LUAD tissue samples and 59 adjacent tissue samples were obtained from The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA-LUAD, www.cancergenome.nih.gov) 11. The AJCC tumor-node-metastasis (TNM) staging system was utilized in definition of metastatic predisposition. Two hundred thirty one LUAD tissues with N0 and M0 stage were identified as non-metastatic predisposition, and 185 LUAD tissues with N1-3 or M1 stage were identified as metastatic predisposition.
