Neurological Deficit Scores

After 2 h MCAO and 22 h reperfusion, the neurological deficit scores were assessed by a blinded investigator according to previous report.3 Neurological deficit scores were scored on a 4-point scale as follows: 0, no neurological deficit; 1, failure to fully extend the forepaw; 2, circling to the opposite side when walking; 3, falling to the opposite side; and 4, had depression and could not walk spontaneously.
