The FRAILMar Study is a controlled randomized clinical trial in candidates to KT assigned to the intervention group (multimodal prehabilitation) or control group (standard medical care), with an allocation ratio of 1:1, in a superiority framework. Results are stratified by frail and non-frail patient status. The study protocol is described following the Standard Protocol Items: Recommendations for Interventional Trials (SPIRIT) Statement (3).
