Summary statistics were presented as the mean, standard deviation, median, 25th and 75th percentiles, and number in each category with the percentage of total. Normality was checked using the Shapiro–Wilk W-test. The nonparametric U-Mann–Whitney test was applied to analyze the differences between groups in quantitative data. Categorical data was analyzed using the x2 and Fisher exact tests. A P-value<0.05 was considered statistically significant. All the statistical analyses were performed with the use of Dell Statistica (v.13) and GraphPad Prism (v.8).
