Colo 205 Cell Culture and Activation Assay

Colo 205 cells (ATCC) were cultured in 5% CO2 at 37°C in DMEM/F12 with HEPES and L-glutamine (Gibco) supplemented with 10% FBS (Atlantic Biologicals). For activation assay, cells were collected by standard trypsinization and plated at 1.2 x 106 cells/well in a 12-well plate and allowed to recover overnight. Spent media was carefully removed and replaced with fresh media during assay.
