2.13. Determination of Cytokine Levels

M0_M-CSF macrophages were treated with TWG (1 µg/mL), 100 nM dexamethasone or vehicle (0.1% DMSO) and stimulated with 100 ng/mL LPS for 20 h. For measurement of extracellular cytokine levels, supernatants were collected by centrifugation (2000× g, 4 °C, 10 min). The cytokines IL-1β and TNF-α were analyzed by in-house–made ELISA kits (R&D Systems, Bio-Techne, Abingdon, UK).
