2.5.3. Apparent Permeability Calculation

The apical-to-basolateral apparent permeability was calculated following the equation:
where dQ/dt is the appearance rate of a drug at the basolateral side (µg/s), A is the surface area of the Transwell® filter (1.12 cm2), and C0 is the initial concentration at the apical side (µg/mL) [21,37].
