Cell proliferation ability was measured by MTT (3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5-diphenylltetrazolium bromide) assay according to the manufacturer’s instructions (Roche). In brief, cells were seeded into 96-well plates at a density of 2 × 104 for cell lines and 2 × 105 for primary AML samples. After drug treatment, 10 μl MTT solution was added to each well followed by 100 μl MTT solvent (10%SDS, 10 mM HCL) 4 h later. OD value was measured using a microplate reader (Bio-Rad).
