Cells are FACS sorted directly into 2% FCS, and then washed with and resuspended in 1X PBS.A Cytospin™ 4 Cytocentrifuge was utilised for the distribution of cells in suspension onto SuperFrost Plus™ slides. In short, cells were loaded into supplied columns and inserted into the centrifuge as per previously published protocol54. Adhered cells were then fixed with ice-cold 4% PFA and then blocked with 20% NGS. Standard immunofluorescent staining protocol described in the previous section was then carried out.
