RBPT is a quick serological test carried out according to the manufacturer’s guidelines of Lilli Test RBT Antigen kit of Brucella organisms (Lilidale Diagnostics, product code: V2001, Pig Oak Farm, Wimborne BH21 7DG, UK). About 30 μl of serum and 30 μl of the rose bengal-colored antigen was taken on a glass plate by a micropipette and mixed with the serum. Afterward, the plate was shaken for 4 min and then read. Definite clumping/agglutination to slight agglutination was considered a positive reaction, whereas no clumping/agglutination was regarded as a negative result.
