The air inside the exposure chamber was monitored, from which 5 h averages were calculated for the following: particle number concentrations (PNC); particle mass concentrations (PM ≈ PM2.5 meaning particles mainly <2.5 µm); nitrogen oxides (NOx, NO2); black carbon (BC); and carbon monoxide (CO). The total PNC was measured by a condensation particle counter (CPC) with d50 = 4 nm. Furthermore, we monitored the temperature (temp) and relative humidity (RH) inside the mobile exposure laboratory.
