In this test, the subjects were asked to stand barefoot without any shoes or socks by placing one foot in front of another, laterally separated by 2.5 cm, with the front foot heel 2.5 cm anterior to the back foot great toe. The subjects chose which foot to place in the forward position for the test and stood in this position with their eyes closed. Scoring was based on the number of seconds the subjects maintained this position, and the scoring was stopped as soon as participants opened their eyes or when they took a step [18] (ICC = 0.94, SEM = 0.72) [22].
