Parents completed the VADRS to assess DSM‐5 based symptoms of hyperactivity/impulsivity, inattention, and oppositionality/defiance (Wolraich, Feurer, Hannah, & Baumgaertel, 2003). Ratings are provided based on behaviors while the adolescents are on medication, when relevant. Symptoms are rated on a 4‐point scale ranging from 1 = Never to 4 = Very Often, with symptoms rated as occurring often or very often counting as being clinically present. Reliability was good in this sample at all timepoints (αs=.89‐.94).
