Peptide Libraries

Overlapping peptide libraries were designed on the basis of the GII.4 Farmington Hills strain (Genbank accession number {"type":"entrez-nucleotide","attrs":{"text":"AY502023","term_id":"40950079","term_text":"AY502023"}}AY502023). Peptides were 15 amino acids long and spanned each ORF, with neighboring peptides overlapping by 10 residues. All peptides were synthesized by GenScript (Piscataway, NJ), resuspended in DMSO at a concentration of 40 mg/mL, and stored at –80°C. Overlapping peptide pools containing up to 25 peptides were generated as shown in Figure 3. Pools were made in serum-free RPMI 1640 with each peptide at 0.8 μg/mL and stored at –80°C.
