We used RNA-seq data of MEFs exposed to erastin from GEO (Gene Expression Omnibus) dataset GSE131444 deposited for our previous report17. We used Gene Set Enrichment Analysis (GSEA) to interpret gene expression pattern36. Gene sets used in this study, GO_REGULATION_OF_AUTOPHAGY, GO_REGULATION_OF_AUTOPHAGY_OF_MITOCHONDRION, and GO_AUTOPHAGOSOME_MATURATION, were obtained from the Broad Institute.
