Mice were anesthetized and the spleen was surgically removed on day 0 after intrasplenic inoculation of B16 melanoma (5 × 105) cells. Four days after the B16 inoculation, mice were injected intravenously with either RK- or GC-pulsed bone marrow-derived DCs (3 × 104 or 1 × 105). The mice were sacrificed after 2 weeks, and the liver was visually or quantitatively evaluated for B16 metastases.
