This is a single-arm, open-label, pilot intervention study to investigate the effects of 5-ALA/SFC in patients with MDM. We created the present study design in accordance with Standard Protocol Items: Recommendations for Interventional Trials and Consolidated Standards of Reporting Trials 2010 guidelines.[11,12]
