Human hepatocarcinoma cells HepG2 (ATCC Cat# HB-8065, RRID:CVCL_0027) were inoculated in Dulbecco’s modified eagle medium high-sugar medium containing 10% fetal bovine serum, 1% penicillin/streptomycin and continuously cultured in a saturated humidity, 37 °C and 5% CO2 incubator. HepG2 cells were digested by 0.25% trypsin and subcultured, whereas the cells confluence rose up to 80–90%.
