Blood samples were obtained from healthy donors at Etablissement Français du Sang (EFS), Rungis, France, after informed consent from the donor and in accordance with EFS guidelines approved by the Comité d’éthique et de déontologie de l’EFS. Peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) were isolated from total blood using Ficoll/Lymphoprep separation (GE Healthcare) and cryopreserved in liquid nitrogen until further use. Peptides used for the T cell stimulation assay were selected from published CD4+ T cell epitopes from Cytomegalovirus, Epstein–Barr virus and Influenza A virus and synthesized by Pepscan (The Netherlands). Peptides sequences are reported in Supplementary Table S1.
