miR-19a mimic (sequence: 5′-UGUGCAAAUCUAUGCAAAACUGA-3′) and its inhibitor AMO-miR-19a (sequence: 5′-UCAGUUUUGCAUAGAUUGCACA-3′) were synthesized by RiboBio (Guangzhou, China). Additionally, a scrambled sequence was used as a negative control (NC) (sequence: 5′-UUCUCCGAACGUGU CACGU-3) that was designed according to the BLAST search of the human/mouse genome. The X-treme GENE siRNA Transfection Reagent (Roche) was used for transfection. After transfection with miR-19a mimic (100 nm) or AMO-miR-19a (100 nm) for 72 h, the NMVCs were used for qRT-PCR and Western blot analysis.
