2.5. Assay for PTP1B Inhibitory Assay

The inhibitory activity of PTP1B has been tested using pNPP previously reported in our paper [31]. The amount of p-nitrophenyl produced after enzymatic dephosphorylation of pNPP was calculated using a microplate spectrophotometer (Molecular Devices) to calculate absorbance at 405 nm. As a positive control, ursolic acid, was used.
