Agarose embedded live cells were treated with etoposide (TEVA, Debrecen, Hungary), used at a final concentration of 25 µM. The drug was diluted in 300 µl complete DMEM medium and the cells were incubated together with the drug at 37 °C in 5% CO2 atmosphere, for 1, 3 or 6 hrs.
