Conners’ Continuous Performance Test (Conners CPT) is a 14-min computerized test that primarily assesses attention and impulse control. [34] Briefly, participants are required to respond to stimuli on a computer screen by pressing a space bar whenever they see a letter that is not “X.”Several parameters are assessed. The Confidence Index (percentile) incorporates all CPT data that are obtained in the test in a probability stated as a number out of 100 that a significant attention problem exists. A lower T-score on the CPT represents better performance [35]. In this study, we categorized patients based on the Confidence Index of 50 into the better performance group (CPT ≤ 50) and the worse performance group (CPT > 50).
