Morusin (purity 99%) was purchased from the Shanghai Research Center of Traditional Chinese Medicine Standardization. Morusin was dissolved in dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO) to a concentration of 4,800 μM. The stock solution was stored at −20°C and diluted in the medium before the experiment. The final DMSO concentration did not exceed 1% throughout the study.
