Ten 4-week-old male nude mice were randomly divided into two groups (five mice per group). A549/DDP cells (100μl, 1 × 106 cells) that stably expressed GAS5 or NC were subcutaneously injected into nude mice. Tumor volumes were calculated per 5 days. Tumor sizes were using the formula: (mm3) =(L×W2) ×0.5 [39]. After one month, mice were sacrificed and tumors were excise and then weighed. All animal experiments were carried out in the animal laboratory center of Xinhua Hospital. and approved by the Animal Care and Use Committee of Xinhua Hospital.
